Overview
Tanzania is an East African country known for its vast wilderness areas. They include the plains of Serengeti National Park, a safari mecca populated by the “big five” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino), and Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Africa’s highest mountain. Offshore lie the tropical islands of Zanzibar, with Arabic influences, and Mafia, with a marine park home to whale sharks and coral reefs.
Itinerary
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport by scheduled flight (booked by agent or on own
arrangements). You clear customs and immigration formalities and are met outside opposite the Arrivals Hall by our Ranger Safaris representative. They will assist you to your transfer vehicle for your transfer to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Arusha
After breakfast check out from the hotel and you will get safari briefing, after that depart by private 4x4 safari vehicle to Tarangire National Park. Once you pass the park gate, you
game view en-route to the lodge arriving for lunch. Following lunch and a chance to enjoy
the lodge’s facilities, you have an afternoon game drive returning to the lodge for dinner.
Overnight stay in Tarangire Ndovu Tented Lodge.
Early morning game drive and return to the lodge for breakfast. Then depart to Lake
Manyara National Park arriving at the lodge for lunch. Following lunch and a chance to enjoy the lodge’s facilities, you set out on an afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge for sunset with dinner.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and depart for Serengeti National Park arriving at
the camp for lunch. Following lunch and a chance to enjoy the camp’s facilities, you set out on an afternoon game drive.
In evening return to camp and have dinner, the rest of the day is at leisure.

After breakfast you have a optional hot air balloon safari tour or you can proceed for the
morning and afternoon game drives with meals.

OPTIONAL Shared Hot Air Balloon Safari
Early morning shared transfer in the balloon company vehicle to the balloon staging site.
You meet the pilot who provides a safety briefing while the crew inflate the hot air balloon. At sunrise, your shared hot air balloon lifts off over the African plains. At times, your pilot will ascend to a higher altitude to give you an overview of the ecosystem. Then you descend to treetop level to silently observe the wildlife from above. After about 50 minutes, you land and are met by the balloon staff to transport you to your shared bush breakfast. You then return to your camp or lodge.

After breakfast check out from the camp and depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area
with en-route game viewing. Stop at Olduvai Gorge for a chance to see the site where the
Leakey family made several important archaeological discoveries. A small museum with
some of the artifacts found can be viewed. You can also visit a traditional Tanzania Maasai
village.
Arrive at the lodge for late lunch and rest of the day is at leisure. In later evening have
special Boma dinner.
Overnight at the lodge in Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast proceed for the Ngorongoro Crater. On arrival descend to the floor of the
crater. Have a game drive in this paradise. With a space of 102 square miles and a resident
wildlife population of more than 30,000 mammals, there is a great chance that you might see all of the big five. A picnic lunch box is provided at a scenic picnic site within the crater.
In the afternoon, you return to the rim of the crater.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and you will be transfer to Arusha Airport or
Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward journey towards home with happy
memories.
