After breakfast, proceed to visit the famous temples of Dwarka which includes Dwarkadhish Temple, Take Holy dip in Gomti River, and proceed to visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga temple, Gopi Talav and Bet Dwarka. On your way back, visit Rukmini Devi Temple.
Dwarkadhish Temple - situated on the northern banks of the Gomti River, the Dwarkadhish Temple, also known as Jagat Mandir (universal shrine), is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna, who is worshipped here by the name Dwarkadhish. According to tradition, the original temple is believed to have been built more than 2500 years ago by Vajranabh, the great grandson of Lord Krishna, over the hari-griha (Lord Krishna's residential abode).
Nageshwar Jyotirling - dedicated to Lord Shiva, is located on the route between Dwarka city and Bet Dwarka Island on the coast of Saurashtra. It is enshrined by one of the 12 jyotirlingas in an underground sanctum.
Gopi Talav - located 20 km north west of Dwarka there is a holy place called Gopi Talav. This village as you see in the photos is very colourful, lively and each house here is a Mandir related to Krishna's life.
Bet Dwarka - Dwarka is an island surrounded by sea from all sides. Dwarka Beach located on the island of Beyt Dwarka, serves as an ideal place to unwind and revitalize oneself, away from the usual city grind. Bet Dwarka offers an opportunity to see the old city of Dwarka that was submerged under the sea thousands of years ago.
Rukmini Devi Temple- is dedicated to Devi Rukmani, the wife of Lord Krishna, who had over 16,000 wives and Devi Rukmani was his favourite. The temple walls feature a variety of paintings from the 12th century, which showcase the time spent by Devi Rukmani and Lord Krishna. A marble deity of Devi Rukmani, with four hands or; Chaturbhuja; is placed in the temple.
Visit various other temples followed by an evening aarti at Dwarkadhish Temple (Private). The rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.
