After breakfast, drive to Paro, a town renowned for its scenic beauty and rich heritage. En route, visit the Tamchog Lhakhang, a 13th-century temple built by the legendary Iron Bridge Builder, Thangthong Gyalpo. Upon arrival in Paro, check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, explore Ta Dzong, the National Museum with its collection of art, relics, and thangkhas, followed by a visit to Rinpung Dzong, a striking fortress that now serves as the administrative center of the district. In the evening, take a leisurely walk around Paro town and soak in its peaceful vibe.

After breakfast, embark on a memorable excursion to the iconic Taktshang Monastery, also known as Tiger’s Nest. This sacred site, perched dramatically on a cliff 900 meters above the valley floor, is reached via a scenic 2–3-hour hike. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche flew to this location on the back of a tigress, giving the monastery its name. If time permits in the afternoon, visit Drukgyel Dzong — a historic site offering a majestic view of Mt. Jhomolhari. On the return journey, stop by Kichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest and most sacred temples.

After breakfast, check out and begin your drive back to Phuentsholing. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Spend the evening at leisure or explore the local markets one last time to collect souvenirs and soak in the final moments of your Bhutan journey.
