The Kailash Manasarovar Yatra is one of the world’s most sacred pilgrimages, revered by Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and followers of the Bon religion. The journey takes pilgrims to the holy Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar in Tibet, believed to be the abode of Lord Shiva. The yatra includes a spiritual visit to the pristine lake, sacred rituals, and the challenging Kailash Parikrama (circumambulation), offering breathtaking Himalayan landscapes and a deeply transformative spiritual experience.
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, spend the day at leisure. In the evening, attend a comprehensive briefing on the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra, covering the journey, travel guidelines, permits, and essential preparations.

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, followed by a visit to the revered Budhanilkantha Temple (Sleeping Vishnu). Return to the hotel for lunch and complete the necessary preparations for the upcoming yatra.

After breakfast, drive through scenic Himalayan landscapes to Dunche / Syabrubesi (1,950 m), the gateway to the Tibet border. The journey covers approximately 154 km and takes around 6–7 hours by private tourist coach.

Following breakfast, drive to the Nepal–China border and complete immigration formalities on both sides. Continue your journey into Tibet and reach Kyirong (2,800 m) after a scenic 35 km drive of approximately 2 hours.

Spend the day in Kyirong for acclimatization to the higher altitude. Rest, take short walks around the town, and prepare your body for the upcoming high-altitude journey.

After breakfast, drive to Saga (4,250 m), covering approximately 168 km in 4–5 hours. En route, cross the majestic Brahmaputra River, enjoying spectacular views of the Tibetan plateau.

Today, travel to the sacred Lake Manasarovar (4,500 m) via the breathtaking Mayum La Pass and Chhongo Lake. During the journey, witness magnificent views of Mount Gurla Mandhata to the south and the first divine glimpse of Mount Kailash to the north. The drive covers approximately 422 km in 6–7 hours.
Overnight Stay: Guesthouse near Lake Manasarovar (Chiu).
Begin the day with a holy bath in Lake Manasarovar, followed by Puja and Hawan on the sacred lakeshore. After lunch, drive approximately 53 km to Darchen, the base camp for the Mount Kailash Parikrama.

Drive 15 km to Darboche, the starting point of the Kailash Parikrama. Begin your trek of 9–10 km to Diraphuk (4,800 m) while enjoying spectacular close-up views of the majestic North Face of Mount Kailash.

Today is the most challenging and spiritually rewarding day of the pilgrimage. Trek across the sacred Dolma La Pass (5,650 m), the highest point of the journey, and continue past Gauri Kund before descending to Zutulphuk Gompa (4,790 m). The trek covers approximately 20–22 km over 10–11 hours.
Overnight Stay: Guesthouse in Zutulphuk.
Complete the final 5 km stretch of the Kailash Parikrama to Zongdo, where your vehicle awaits. Drive back to Saga, reflecting on the spiritual accomplishment of completing the sacred circumambulation.

After breakfast, drive approximately 268 km back to Kyirong, enjoying the beautiful Tibetan landscapes along the way. The journey takes around 4–5 hours.

After breakfast, cross the Nepal–China border and drive back to Kathmandu, covering approximately 172 km in 7–8 hours. In the evening, enjoy a special Farewell Dinner celebrating the successful completion of the pilgrimage.
