AMAZING SHILLONG WITH GUWAHATI TOUR

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station, transfer to Shillong (4,900 ft), popularly known as the "Scotland of the East". 

En route, visit Umium Lake, a majestic and serene lake surrounded by lush hills. 

On arrival in Shillong, check in at your hotel and rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

After an early breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft), one of the wettest places on Earth. 

Visit the spectacular Nohkalikai Falls and explore the Mawsmai Caves. On the return journey, stop at the scenic Elephant Falls. 

In the evening back to Shillong and rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.

After early breakfast, drive to Dawki, a picturesque town near the India-Bangladesh border, famous for the crystal-clear Umngot River. 

Later, proceed to Mawlynnong – acclaimed as “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Explore key attractions such as the Living Root Bridge and the Balancing Rock. 

Return to Shillong in the evening and rest of the day is at leisure.

After breakfast, visit the Don Bosco Museum (closed on Sundays) and Ward’s Lake. 

Later, drive to Guwahati. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.

In the evening, you may opt for a Golden Sunset Cruise on the Brahmaputra River (at your own cost).

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Guwahati. 

Visit Kamakhya Temple (open from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM until sunset), Tirupati Balaji Temple, Nabagraha Temple, Assam State Museum (closed on Mondays), State Zoo cum Botanical Garden, Regional Science Centre, and Sukreswar Temple – one of the Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. 

In evening return to hotel and rest of the day is at leisure for independent activities.
